# Follow the agreed review connection

Your space proposal, explained

SMILE\-FX / A proposal you can understand

A review becomes meaningful when you know the question it is meant to answer and the decision that answer will inform.

Read at your pace. Every supplied statement and its interpretation is available in HTML, Markdown and print.

## Read the connection, not just the appointment

An appointment label tells you that a discussion is planned. Its purpose tells you why that discussion matters. In a coordinated proposal, look for the actual question to be reviewed and the role responsible for answering it. Then connect that answer with the next discussion already described.

The fictional agreement below supplies a question and responsibility. It supplies no dates, measurements or clinical directions. Its usefulness comes from understanding that particular agreement, rather than treating it as a timetable for someone else's care.

## A supplied review with an understood job

Fictional reply after the agreed review: 'The space matches the goal described in this proposal for the replacement discussion,' the orthodontist explains. 'I have explained that comparison to the restorative clinician.' The restorative clinician confirms receiving it and remains responsible for deciding which replacement plan they can recommend.

For this fictional case, the agreed review has happened and an answer has been received. The orthodontist reports that the space matches the proposal's agreed goal for the replacement discussion. The patient is reading that clinician's supplied assessment, not measuring the space or deciding readiness personally.

The reply resolves the particular space\-goal question in this example and confirms that its explanation reached the restorative clinician. It gives their separate replacement discussion an explained reference. It does not answer which replacement plan will be recommended: the restorative clinician still owns that replacement decision. A reported space\-goal answer and an undecided replacement plan can therefore coexist.

## Put the understood parts together

The patient can now say: 'The orthodontic part prepares room for the replacement tooth being discussed. The review explanation says the space matches the agreed goal, and the restorative clinician has received that explanation. The orthodontist owns that space\-goal assessment. The restorative clinician decides which replacement plan they can recommend; I am still waiting for that replacement recommendation.'

This retelling retains the purpose, the actual answer received and the precise decision still pending. It does not promise that a replacement has been chosen or supplied. It also avoids calling the replacement decision a readiness decision: those belong to different parts of the supplied explanation.

For your own proposal, retain the actual reply your clinicians gave. This fictional completed review does not set a clinical timetable, a universal order or a condition for someone else's treatment.

## Keep clinical responsibility visible through follow\-ups

SMILE\-FX\-confirmed care policy and offerings: every\-patient orthodontist follow\-ups, standard monitoring and provider\-support access. The practice confirmed these descriptions; the linked pages provide limited background and practice information.

Board\-certified orthodontists see every SMILE\-FX patient, including at follow\-up visits. Standard smartphone monitoring supplies progress information for clinical review, and provider support offers a route for questions. These features help keep the orthodontic conversation connected as the proposed care is explained and reviewed.

Use your treating team's route for questions during ongoing care. A new in\-person consultation request begins a separate conversation about the orthodontic scope being considered at SMILE\-FX.
